Eliot Goldberg Named SVP Development & Programming For CMT

EXCLUSIVE: Former TV Land and Ryan Seacrest Prods executive Eliot Goldberg has became a member of CMT about the West Coast as SVP Development and Programming. He'll oversee growth and development of new programming -- both unscripted and scripted -- confirming to Jayson Dinsmore, EVP Development and Programming. CMT continues to be growing into reality, most lately starting new Thursday series Texas Ladies and Sweet Home Alabama. Additionally, it embarked into scripted television with sitcom Working Class, which went for just one season. Goldberg lately offered as SVP Development and Original Programming in a cable network which has found success with original sitcoms -- TV Land. There he developed and oversaw scripted and non-scripted programming.
